About Sarah Brooks
As the Program Director for Design & Government for IBM, Sarah Brooks is leading in the world of design for the public sector, worldwide. The first Chief Design Officer for a US Federal Agency and a former White House Presidential Innovation Fellow during Obama’s presidency, Brooks is an internationally recognized lecturer, writer and thought leader on design issues. Brooks’ work has been covered in the New York Times and Wired among others. She recently was named one of DCFem Tech’s “Powerful Women Designers” and is a National Board Member of AIGA.
