ING Creatives 2019

Creative Culture Practices

Hosted by: Matt Brown

Ping pong tables and free coffee only go so far in fostering an open, fun, and inclusive creative environment. Creative cultures are created through practices that are specifically made for an environment that can give people the space to share ideas, establish trust and relationships, and can lead to new mashups of characters and approaches. Matt Brown of IDEO will share examples of practices used across IDEO, and participants in this workshop will craft new creative customs for each other, and for a series of case studies.

Participants will also be given suggestions on how to start something up with a small crew and iterate before scaling up. This includes naming the activity, setting the time, setting the mood, etc.

Participants should leave this workshop feeling empowered to start creative practices in their workplaces.
