Gaurav Maitreya is an award-winning creative at advertising giant Ogilvy, helping the creative network tell stories that impact people. Gaurav’s work has been featured at Cannes Lions, Dubai Lynx and other festivals. In 2018, he was selected to represent the UAE at Cannes Lions - International Festival of Creativity. As a digital native, he specializes in connecting brands, experience and technology to create campaigns that leave a lasting impact with his audience. Prior to joining Ogilvy, Gaurav worked on several notable accounts such as Nestle, Mastercard, Garnier, Jeep, Renault, Lipton at global agencies like DDB and Publicis.
Irfan Ghani is the Design Director at Ogilvy. His work spans across print, outdoor, digital and social media, and has been featured by the One Show, D&AD, Core 77, Red Dot and Dubai Lynx. He is a strong proponent of good design education and diverse creative leadership. He has been part of the American University of Dubai’s Visual communication board and a scholarship delegate of D&AD / Berlin School of Creative Leadership’s RARE LDN Masterclass for young creative leaders.
Join us for a workshop that looks at the changes advertising has seen in the past 10 years, since the dawn of the digital age. From Facebook Live to Google VR Cardboard, there are so many more mediums to choose from and endless ways to bring an idea to life.
In this 5-hour hands-on session, our aim is to help you get familiar with these new mediums, so you can create advertising concepts that stand out. Together, we’ll look at what brands are currently doing and then in teams, you will come up with ideas that fit the medium you’ve chosen and resonate with your audience.
We want you to leave this workshop with an idea that’s powerful, unexpected and memorable across any medium.
