Francisco Andriani is a graphic designer with over 10 years of experience and co-founder of the Buenos Aires based studio Asís, which works mainly with boutique brands and entrepreneurs. Francisco’s works have been presented in books by international publishing houses such as Counterprint, Victionary and Sandu Publishing. His work was also reviewed in recognized blogs like BrandNew and TheDieline among others, and featured over 40 times in The best of Behance.
Constantly looking for inspiration, he found his love for typography and modernism while studying Graphic Design at university, and he avidly keeps exploring its possibilities. Drawn to challenges, Francisco sees each project as an opportunity to search for efficient and aesthetic communication. He is convinced that the greatest potential of the studio is the ability to adapt and create personalized creative good looking solutions.
We all are familiar with modernist aesthetics in art, architecture, and product design. Well, graphic design has its own perfectly self-contained modernism manifestation. This workshop is committed to teach you to create a universally symbolic design language. Together with Francisco get to embrace the persuasive power of image and form, and grasp what a good corporate logo design looks like. You will cover the whole process of designing a modernist logo, from ideation to the presentation to the client. You will learn how to come up with concepts and put them together. Once you have a strong idea on a sketch, you will digitize and refine it into a logo with a modernist look and feel. Finally, you will learn how to create a deck to visually present to the client your design in a professional way.
This session will be carried out using a Zoom video call.
